Training & Certification Program
Role-based professional credentials for courts, justice agencies, and implementation partners.
The Platform Behind the Credentials
eCourtDate is the AI-powered communications and data platform built for courts, law enforcement, and justice agencies. Thousands of government agencies use eCourtDate to send court reminders, manage cases, process payments, and communicate with the public across SMS, email, voice, chat, and web portals.
The eCourtDate Training & Certification Program gives your team the structured credentials to operate, administer, and extend the platform with confidence. Whether you are a clerk sending your first reminder or a developer building a custom API integration, there is a certification track designed for your role.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the certification program for?
The program is designed for anyone who works with the eCourtDate platform. The Professional track (ECP) is for court clerks, case managers, administrators, analysts, and agency leadership who use and manage the platform. The Technical track (ECTP) is for software developers, integration engineers, implementation consultants, and data migration specialists who build on and deploy the platform.
Do I need technical experience to get started?
No. The Professional track (ECP) is designed for non-technical users and requires no prior technical experience. It covers everything from basic platform navigation through system administration and reporting. The Technical track (ECTP) is for professionals with development, integration, or implementation experience and assumes familiarity with APIs, data formats, and project delivery.
How long does it take to earn a certification?
It depends on the track and your experience level. The Professional certification (ECP) can typically be completed in one to two weeks of self-paced study. The Technical certification (ECTP) generally takes two to four weeks given the breadth of development, implementation, and migration content. All coursework is self-paced and available online, so you can fit it around your schedule.
Do I need the Professional certification before taking the Technical track?
No. The two tracks are independent. You can start with either one depending on your role. Developers and implementation partners can go directly to the Technical track (ECTP) without completing the Professional track first. That said, earning both certifications demonstrates full-stack platform mastery and is recommended for senior consultants and solution architects.
How do I renew my certification?
Certifications are valid for one year. Renewal is entirely self-service and completed online. You will receive a notification 90 days before your certification expires. The renewal process includes updated learning modules that cover new platform features and a shorter renewal assessment. There is no need to retake the full original exam.
How do I verify someone's certification?
Every eCourtDate certificate includes a QR code that links directly to the credential verification record. Scan the QR code with any smartphone camera to confirm the holder's name, certification type, issue date, and current status. Certified professionals also receive digital badges they can share on LinkedIn and other professional networks.
Can my agency certify multiple staff members at once?
Yes. We offer group enrollment for agencies that want to certify teams. Group enrollment includes centralized progress tracking, dedicated support, and volume pricing. Contact us to discuss a training plan for your agency.
Is certification required to use eCourtDate?
No. Certification is not required to use the platform. However, certification ensures your team follows best practices, reduces onboarding time for new staff, and is required for consulting firms that want to join the eCourtDate Implementation Partner Program. Many agencies include certification as part of their deployment plan to ensure consistent knowledge across departments.
What is the difference between this program and the training offered through Professional Services?
The Professional Services training is instructor-led and delivered as part of an implementation engagement. It focuses on your specific configuration, workflows, and go-live readiness. The certification program is a standalone credentialing framework with standardized curriculum, assessments, and digital credentials. Many agencies use both: Professional Services training during deployment, and the certification program for ongoing skill validation and new hire onboarding.
