eCourtDate publishes the basis of every number it uses, so a purchasing team, an IT evaluator, or a legislative analyst can check it. This page lists each figure, what it counts, where the site uses it, and whether it has been verified.

How to read a status

Verified
The figure has been checked against its source on the date shown and is within its review window.
In review
The figure is in use and its method is being documented. The method is published here when the review is complete, and the figure is not used in any comparison until then.

eCourtDate figures

Every number below is eCourtDate's own. None describes any other vendor.

  1. 10,000+ courts and justice locations

    In review

    The number of courts and justice locations running on the platform.

    What it counts
    The platform location count from production records.
    Where it is used
    Home page, platform page, product pages, most solution pages, and meta descriptions.

  2. 24 states

    In review

    The number of states with at least one eCourtDate deployment.

    What it counts
    The contracted agency list, grouped by state. Statewide and local deployments both count once toward the state total.
    Where it is used
    Home page, about page, modernize page, and solution pages.

  3. Up to 50% reduction in failure to appear (FTA)

    In review

    The largest reduction in FTA observed across eCourtDate agencies. "Up to" means the top of the range, not a typical result.

    What it counts
    Customer outcome data. The published method will state the cohort, the baseline period, the measurement period, and the exclusions, and the median will be published beside the top of the range.
    Where it is used
    Home page, solution pages, the messaging product page, and meta descriptions.

  4. 85% juror response rate

    In review

    The share of summoned jurors who respond when contacted through the platform.

    What it counts
    Juror response data from eCourtDate jury programs. The published method will state which agencies, which summons cycles, and what counts as a response.
    Where it is used
    The jury operations use case and the jury management product page.

  5. 99.95% uptime SLA

    In review

    The availability commitment eCourtDate makes for the platform.

    What it counts
    The service level agreement figure, with a recovery time objective of 4 hours and a recovery point objective of 1 hour. Confirmation that the published figure matches the executed master service agreement is in progress.
    Where it is used
    Security overview and the Trust Center.

  6. 100+ languages, WCAG 2.2 AA

    Communications reach recipients in more than 100 languages, and the platform is built to WCAG 2.2 AA.

    What it counts
    The language catalog the platform supports and the published Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).
    Where it is used
    Site-wide, the accessibility page, and the VPAT page.

  7. Published pricing

    Platform tiers and usage credit rates are listed publicly with their amounts.

    What it counts
    The pricing page itself. Add-on modules are listed by name without prices.
    Where it is used
    The pricing page and the pages that link to it.
    Usage limit
    eCourtDate publishes its own pricing and makes no statement here about whether any other vendor does.

  8. CJIS compliant, hosted exclusively in AWS GovCloud (US)

    The platform is designed to meet the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy and is hosted exclusively in AWS GovCloud (US), which holds FedRAMP High authorization.

    What it counts
    The security configuration documented in the Security overview and the Trust Center. eCourtDate is a GovRAMP member, listed on the Progressing Product list, and is listed at CSA STAR Level One. Encryption uses FIPS 140-2/140-3 validated cryptographic modules. eCourtDate itself does not hold a FedRAMP authorization and makes no SOC 2 claim.

  9. On pace for $1B+ a year in taxpayer costs avoided

    In review

    An annualized estimate of public costs avoided across eCourtDate agencies.

    What it counts
    The model behind this figure is in review. When published it will state which costs are counted, the baseline, the cohort, the period, and what "on pace" annualizes from.
    Where it is used
    Home page and the modernize page.
    Usage limit
    This figure is not used in any cost comparison or total cost of ownership model until the model is published.

These figures are not eCourtDate's. They are attributed to their sources where they appear, and their primary citations are being recorded in the register.

  • 23% national failure to appear average

    An external national estimate of the FTA rate, attributed to its source where it appears. The primary citation is being recorded in the register.

    Where it is used: Home page, the failure to appear impact page, and solution pages.

  • About 45% juror response on paper

    An external estimate of juror response to paper summons, attributed to its source where it appears. The primary citation is being recorded in the register.

    Where it is used: The jury operations use case.
